Hail in Devon too, brighter now though.
I think it would have washed planted away, the village at 5.30pm was flooded.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

My padron peppers seem OK and some echinaceas that were mail order and so arrived practically dead. I'm not sure about my asters and Erigerons.
