Using up Autumn lawn food now?

CopperdogCopperdog Posts: 617
Hello I have a box of autumn lawn food left over from last year.  The grass looks good as I fed it with the usual Scotts lawn builder spring summer around 5/6 weeks ago.  As heavy rain is forecast overnight here would it be a good idea to put that down as a second feed as I haven't had a chance to buy another spring feed just yet?

Don't know if it would do any harm or not. Autumn feed has a higher concentration of phosphate and a lower one of nitrogen than a Spring/Summer feed as it is formulated to boost root development ( phosphate ) rather than foliage growth ( nitrogen ) so don't expect rapid growth.

Thanks Bone Meal.  Yes I just wondered if I should just pop it on as I guess any bit of nourishment is better than nothing?  Many thanks
