Mystery arrivals. Help to identify please.

Morning everyone. I’ve just spotted two mystery intruders in my potager. I think the broad leaved one is a weed.... but the tall one at the back seems too pretty to be a weed.... but I certainly have no idea what it is, and therefore should I move it to another pot?

The broadleaved one is a willowherb.

I know what the other one is ... but the name won't come ... I need more coffee ...........

Oh fidgetbones i would be thrilled if it is ..... I tried to grow from seed last year but I only got a couple of spindly plants. Could this have just taken a full year to grow? It just popped up behind the pinks I overwintered in the covered potager.

I thought maybe a Cosmos (the tall one). It looks very healthy whatever it is :)

    Could it be Larkspur (consolida)?

Could be larkspur. Only way to know is to let it flower. I would not move it at this stage.

Hmm if it’s cosmos or larkspur it’s not going to like that spot for long.... the potager is on legs and if it gets much bigger the wind will catch it really badly as I’m on a first floor terrace..... guess time will tell.
