What Fertiliser for lawn

My lawn is 100m2. No weeds. No moss. Does have patches  of thatch. This year aim to keep short to see if that helps  remove thatch. I usually use Evergreen 4 in 1 complete, but would another fertiliser be just as good. Would like value for money. Mabe also apply several times throughout the growing season.

    In a similar situation I’ve watered a couple of times spring and summer with a solution of soluble seaweed fertilizer ... the lawn greened up nicely ... and no harm done to all the invertebrates, birds, hedgehogs, toads, frogs, newts etc we share our garden with 😊 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    6x chicken manure fertiliser (not pellets) if you can stand the smell. Lingers on for a few days but works a treat.  Had to move a lot of plants out of our house after giving them all a spoonful!

    There's little point using 4in1 if weeds and moss aren't an issue. There are hundreds of lawn feeds available, though I'm not 100% sure what's in B&Q. 

    Order some proper stuff from the likes of Agrigem, Amenity Land Solutions or Pitchcare, to name just 3 options. Slow release is a good idea at this time of year, or get a regular 8 week feed for quicker results. I'd keep nitrogen at 14% or below on short term feeds or you'll be mowing twice  a week. 

    Makes sure you use a spreader...

    I often use bonemeal in the autumn to promote root growth and chicken manure pellets in the spring to green it up a bit.
    Needless to say my dog takes a keen interest in both, but no harm seems to have been done.

    Thank you all. I have contacted the 3 sellers mentioned by glasgowdan to see what they recommend for my lawn.

    The more you feed it, the more you have to mow it. I never feed the grass or water it in drought. Somehow it survives.

    Thank you Fidgetbones. My grass is not thick and resilient looking. I hop some feeding will do it good.

    Those suppliers suggested by Dan are quite pricy esp. If you add postage. Anyone recommend a fertiliser that is around £25 including post? Otherwise i will just nuy Evergreen 4 in 1 Complete.
