Problem with my hydrangea

Does anybody know what's just appeared on my hydrangea? Cheers guys

    Have you watered withtap water? If so it may simply be calciumif you got the water on the leaves. We have very bad water here and I often get water stains which leave flaky white residue after it dries.
    Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
