Thanks, I will plant the foxglove seeds in the next few weeks. I managed to get approx a dozen cosmos seeds to germinate. They aren't flowering yet, but look promising, although when tender and young they are susceptible to attack from slugs etc.
MAY SEEDS MISSING. Sad to say my May GW magazine delivered this morning with envelope already opened and no seed packets left. All the leaflets etc still there so does not look accidental. Only realised the seeds should have been there when reading Martin Lewis suggesting buying it as good value to get seeds. Hope this is not happening to others. I hope whoever took them manages to grow some beautiful flowers and tasty lettuce which improves their life in these troubled times.
No seeds with my May magazine either, and on flicking through it I can't find any reference to free seeds this month ... but we have got the 2 for 1 booklet and card ... hopefully there'll be some gardens open eventually. There were free seeds last month.

I think you're mistaken @CarolW2 , there's no mention of free seeds on the cover or inside the magazine. When did Martin Lewis mention this ? There are free seeds with Garden News this week.
May issue according to Martin Lewis From Thu 16 Apr, if you buy the May 2020 issue of BBC Gardeners’ World magazine, you'll get six free packets of seeds worth £18ish. The magazine will be £6.99 at supermarkets/newsagents, or it’s £7.99 delivered online at Mags Direct, until Wed 27 May.
Thanks @Zenjeff , looks like maybe the subscribers missed out. Maybe they're using it to attract new readers/subscribers. Edited to add, l did find this... https://magsdirect.co.uk/magazine/gwmay20/ There are free seeds available, but not to existing subscribers?
Yes I see now that only special editions have seeds. Whoever opened my magazine envelope made same mistake and was disappointed too. Or maybe just a coincidence it ripped neatly across the top this month !
