What plant is this I found in my garden?

I am not sure what it is and i cant find anything anywhere please help?

    its a bit blurry, but its looks like its growing from a tuber, so possibly a dahlia?

    Thank you for your response I will try and take some better photos - I am not so sure when looking at pictures of a dahlia but hopefully new photos will determine your certainty

    Where did it come from? As that might give you a clue.   Could also be a rhizome it’s growing from, but the leaf doesn’t look right for ginger or turmeric.

    Basically we have a survival pot and we put plants that look like they are dying from our garden in to it to monitor it and we went out and seen this growing so we repotted it but could just be a bird seed dropped but really not sure... please see more photos attached. It has a slight purple edge on the leaves

    I really hope someone can help you @lewiscombey because I have these in my garden and it's driving me nuts trying to think of the name!

    I want to say balloon flower but I don't think they have 'bulbs'  but that is what they look like in the autumn when they flower. Had my white ones for years, split them every so often to increase and fill the spaces where wildlife has pinched other bulbs!

    I can't see a tuber but a bit of a digaround would tell. Looks like Platycodon to me

    Balloon flower it is, I always doubt myself - usually with good reason  :)   The thing I think of as a 'bulb' maybe just a swelling in the root?
