What’s up with aubergine plant?

I’ve never grown Aubergines before but recently I’ve noticed the a couple of leaves on a couple of my plants have  gone a bit strange! Is it where I have splashed the leaves when watering or disease? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I can’t be certain but my guess would be temperature. It’s been quite chilly lately and the temperature near a window can be a lot cooler over night... have the leaves touched the window even? Or the opposite, the leaves have been scorched by too much direct light? I’ve not grown aubergines but that is what it looks like to me. 😬

Ah ok, thank you. It is possible that the leaves have touched the window. That would make sense.  Will they be ok? I’m fairly new to gardening so unsure 😊

I think Flinster has got it ... temperature would be my first thought.

dunno about temp, could be of course but have you done anything different this past week? What kind of soil did you use? Are the roots poking out the bottom of the pot yet?
Have you fed them and if so what with?
What is the ph of your water you are using? They need a ph of 6. Our tap water is 8. Watering with rain water would solve a ph issue.

Could still be other things like temperature sure, I personally would go with them not liking the music you are playing over temp but who knows.

I have fed them with seaweed solution and other than that, just normal tap water so that could be the problem too. I will start using rain water. The roots aren’t out of the pot so that shouldn’t be an issue. It’s planted in mpc. Thank you for the info 🙂
