What is pooping in our garden?

Can you help, please?
We are not long in this house and this was going to be our first summer to use our garden. I was searching on google but still not sure what is pooping in our garden. The garden is full of it. I thought it's cats but pics i saw doesnt look the same really. I just want our kids to play freely and to be able to do some gardening 😔

That’s just wormcasts ... simply the results of having a good number of earthworms keeping your soil aerated and healthy.

You’ll usually see it happen most in the autumn and winter when the soil is wet.

It’s only soil so you can
simply use a spring tine lawn rake to spread them about and then mow your lawn and your children can enjoy your garden without any worries.

I hope you and your family are very happy in your new home 😊

PS just a tip ... mow your lawn on medium height once a week rather than cutting it shorter but less frequently. Doing as I suggest will help your grass to thicken up and become lush and green. 😊

  • Thank you all. It's quite a relief thinking its just worms.

I feel the darker one looks the same as the lighter just not dry.
Do the worms lift the soil so high?

    Here some closer look:

Looks like the result of some big fat healthy earthworms to me 👍

Using the rake to remove the underlying dead brown grass (thatch) before mowing  will also encourage your grass to grow thick and healthily.
