Help to identify

Hi all, I'm new to this site (and gardening generally!) and I've got some plants in the garden that I'm not sure what they are and therefore, what to do with them.  Is anyone able to help with these two please?  Neither flowered last year, that I noticed.

    First might be Crocosmia.  Second looks like Physocarpus Diabolo

    If it’s crocosmia wouldn’t the OP have had at least one flower on them last year? Mine are no where near that size yet, could it be some kind of grass. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Hi Lyn.  I'm told by a neighbour that it should flower and having researched crocosmia, wonder if it needs dividing. I guess I won't be able to do anything until autumn now. Maybe it'll flower this year (won't hold my breath!).

    Is the first one a Daylily, I have some that look the same!

    Thanks Buzzy2.  Just looked up Daylily and yes, could be that too.  I think I best leave it again this year and see if it flowers.  Now I've got a couple of options, I'll be able to compare any flowers I see.  If I don't get any flowers, it looks like dividing works for Daylillies as well!

    It could be a Liriope Muscari. They are not always reliable with flowering. They prefer dry shade.

    My vote goes for Lirope too.
