we were given these plants. They were apparently left in a garage with out much care. We are giving them sunlight and water but I don’t know what they are or how to look after them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

The bottom one could be a too cramped in Agapanthus, can’t see how they are emerging from the base.

If you crush a piece of a leaf from the top plant, does it have a strong smell?

Hello, and thank you for your replies. The top one doesn’t have smelly leaves, no...I have mint growing and it’s a similar shape but different colour and texture.
the bottom pick, they do need repotting or planting some of them have new growth (I think) coming round the mud in the bottom of the pot.
They have been given to us by a chap who was finishing up at a new build housing estate so I think they may have been for filling common ground.
i do appreciate your time and help
    thanks ever so much

The bottom one looks like a Liriope or Ophiopogon. Probably Liriope.
