Lots of these on my roses today, having never seen them much before. They are sitting on the leaves for a long time. What are they are and what are they likely to be doing?
Theyre an important pollinator, not got the glamour and public image of bees, but one of the many creatures we rely upon. Loads of them here this year, seem to be more than I remember in previous years.
