Plant identification help please



This plant has been growing steadily after I cut back to practically zero some perennials to over winter - now I can't remember what this could possibly be and it has even started a vine in part. Tried to identify online - but no luck even though the leaves seem quite distinct...?

    Those look very like potato or tomato leaves ... 😕

    I was wondering about that but I thought the leaves looked bigger ... but there’s nothing really to show scale ... you may well have nailed it @AnniD 😊

    Bruise a leaf, if it smells of tomato, it's a tomato.

  • Bruised a leaf and actually smelt of bell pepper - red/green pepper. The thing is I have never grown any veg..... to the best of my recollection :open_mouth:
