@CraighB Bayer fungus fighter is one I know of. Comes in RTU and concentrate form.
So as this is a fungus fighter and isn't a combined product for killing bugs too, is this safe to use? Would the bees etcetc unaffected by using this?

@Posy Oh I know where it is coming from... It's exactly where you said .. over the neighbours fence. The neighbour has an overgrown tangled mess of a garden and there is a rose mixed in with it all covered in blackspot! I would love to rip it out :) will look at Sulphure Rose.

@Obelixx I don't have any horsetail but I will look up organic sprays such as the one you mentioned. I really would prefer organic as I want to be free of guilt each time I use it! :)

Do you find that they still get black spot Hostafan? And do they still flower just as good even with the blackspot and rust etc?

It depends how bad it is. Year after year a bad infection will weaken the bush and make it vulnerable to other problems. A minor case is mainly cosmetic.

I’d expect it to not kill the bugs. I got this from some books I’ve been reading on using the correct product for the problem as opposed to using all in ones. Similarly I don’t use weed and feed either. If at all, spot treat the bad offenders. However you’ll notice the individual products are quite a bit more expensive than the all in ones (albeit being the same)! crazy...

I've used a specific fungus fighter on a badly affected, right down into the stems attack of black spot and it worked really well, but I don't see the point of using insecticide when other methods are just as effective.
The only insecticide I use is on ants that get too close to the house
    In London. Keen but lazy.
