Wallflowers

I have had a brilliant display of wallflowers for months. They are just starting to go over. They have dried bits which look like seed pods. Are they seeds or should I just through the flowers away and start again later in the year?  Help please.

    Leave the long seed pods on the plants until they dry and then collect and sow at least some of them straight away (they will germinate and overwinter fine.)  They may not look like the parent plant but will still be wallflowers.  If you want identical plants, take cuttings using non-flowering shoots.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
