That's beautiful, @Dave Humby. Is that three plants? And how old are they? Cheers!

Yes @Janie B three plants. We’ve been here coming up six years and I’m guessing they were probably that age again judging by when the previous owners built the pergola arrangement. They were largely left to do their own thing before but I’ve been pruning them the ‘proper’ way the last four or five years and they seem to benefit from it.

It has certainly done the trick Dave.  It looks lovely.

Ours are going over now so every time we open the door we get a load of spent petals flying in but that's OK.  Last year they flowered on and off all summer so I enjoyed the perfume for along time.

I've got a mixed bag this year. I have five plants, two of them at least 30 years old and not really playing ball this year. The others are between 2 and 10 years approx. below are the 10 year old's and always behave splendidly.

We've just got back from a day out (a 140 mile round trip) and have never seen so many good looking wisteria bushes in bloom - one Berkshire village we went through almost had one on every house - looked absolutely fantastic.

We have a large wisteria at the back of our house but one branch has made its way around the side to our kitchen door....

... and not a hint of photoshop! You can even see the stains on the wall on the left as the snails flew out of my garden.
