Lily Problem

I love lilies and it’s only relatively recently where I live that they’ve began to survive More than a few seasons without special measures. The conditions are such now that individual bulbs strengthen year on year although they don’t form into clumps.

This is my favourite but alas I cannot remember the name of this Lilly but it is a beautiful orange and has flowered well in situ for the last 5 years. The aspect is south east facing with the base shaded all day.

The plants came up as normal, looking really healthy till a few days ago when the leaves started to brown with the leaves round the flower buds contorting.

Information on line doesn’t give a definitive answer and is unclear so I’m looking to your good selves for the benefit of your experience.  There are many other lilies of varying types in the immediate vicinity all looking healthy so far. I need to know if I need to take action to prevent this spreading. See pics and thanks in advance for your help, it’s appreciated.

looks a bit like aphid damage causing the curling, maybe viral infection from the aphids causing the browning?
