Iochroma australis

Does anyone on this forum grow this plant ; sometimes known as the 'Blue Angel's Trumpet' ?

I grew two of these from seeds bought as (then) Acnistus australis around twenty years ago .

Reputed to be fairly tender , I've had mine growing outdoors for the duration .

It is more a 'woody relative' of Brugmansia ; it seems to flower on the current years growth , so I keep it tidy with a light trim every Spring .

I was just wondering if others here have had dealings with this species ?
