  • Hi @lilysilly; thank you for your reply.  I looked at 'pink peonies' online and there are a couple that are similar to the one in my photo but I haven't come across 'Nymphe', so I'll definitely look up that particular variety as well.  Mind you, they're all beautiful, from what I can see!  The clump in my photo have only got about four or five in bloom, the rest are still in bud but can't be far behind.  Yours will be in flower spectacularly in no time, I'm sure!  :)
  • Hi @debs64; thanks for your reply.  I can recall the Peony section on GW but only vaguely (!) so I will definitely track back and have another look.  Thanks ever so.  :)

Have a look here ... a really good site for paeonies https://www.claireaustin-hardyplants.co.uk/t/plants/peonies

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Oh lovely, thanks @Dovefromabove; I'll take a look at that site for sure.  Now I've seen a Peony in the flesh, I think I may have fallen in love!  Thanks again.  :)

They do take  their time before they flower  But the leaves are quite attractive.
(I probably have more than I have proper room for.)

Hi @Iamweedy.  That's the same as me, I can hardly move in my little border for plants but I still want more!  These Peonies that I photographed are very stout in their stems and buds and of course, there's a lot of detail in those flowers; I can see why they take their time to bloom!  :)
