camellia green leaf drop

We have 23 healthy camellias growing in containers, and one which has suddenly, over 2-3 days dropped every leaf. The leaves were all green, and most of the flowers did not fall. It looks like a skeleton now does anyone have any ideas why?

    Bumping up,  anyone any ideas?
    have you looked in the pot for vine weevil?
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Thank you for replying. I took it out of the pot this morning, and I can't see any vine weevil. I'm going to repot it and give it a little bit more time, it would be too sad not to give it a chance!
