Plants Dying

This is a picture of a Choisya which was planted 8 weeks ago. All 4 are like this. Any idea what is doing it? These turned first then the Box changed while we were away, and were planted 18 months ago. 30 of them are turning.

The rose recovered as did the Hydrangeas.

The dogwood were destroyed by Vine Weevil beetles. We've treated with nematodes and in fact I planted the Choisya to replace the Dogwood because they with stood the weevil.

The Choisya look completely dead.

I did sprinkle some kind of feed pellets down, the grey stones you can see. But the Choisya had started prior to that. Other plants seem to be doing really well.

Choisya doesn't need to be fed. But new plants need water.

I'm not convinced it's a watering problem. The whole garden is only 3 years old and is looking lush. Just 30 odd small box plants which are 18 months old and 4 new choisya. The mature one looks fine.
