What is eating my Cephalotaxus?

Something has been eating the leaves on this Cephalotaxus.
I don't see any pests around, well maybe the odd ladybird on another plant, but nothing obvious.

This hasn't continued.  So whatever caused the ends of the leaves to be 'snipped' off isn't doing it anymore.

It's a lovely plant, the Japanese Plum Yew.
It's doing rather well in a shady spot, the February snow didn't seem to phase it.

Totally agree GravelEater , it is a lovely plant .
Yours looks like the fastigiate form of Ceph.harringtoniana ; very hardy and reliable in sun or shade .
Just keep it away from any dogs you may have ! :o
