Help me identify plants ?

Hi there ! I am beginning to get my flowerbeds looking presentable :D The weeds are making for a lot of maintenance , but many of the plants my grandmother bought are re-emerging and many new wildflowers have invaded which make it more than rewarding enough.

I have discovered several plants that I havent seen before , and I hesitate to destroy them before identifying them first. There are tall ones with grayish green fluffy leaves , then quite a large plant with almost geranium like leaves , and then some small seedlings from a plant my mum claimed at first was tomato , but it doesn't look like the tomatoes I've seen :P .

It is nothing vital , and I know that for the seedlings it may be a long shot, it is just curiosity getting the better of me , if anyone knows then I would be very grateful to you :3

Thank you !

  • I think no 3 is creeping buttercup which you definitely don’t want.

Yes I agree that’s Creeping buttercup ... remove.

The greyish fluffy leaves might be a centaura ... a type of cornflower aka Bachtlor’s Buttons. Wait until it flowers, then we’ll know.

Thank you very much ! Yes I've just been reading about it on the RHS and destroyed it as you both advised , I'll keep an eye on that area so it doesn't come back.

    I hope they're Cornflowers ! I love those , they'd be very welcome invaders :3
