Cherry Tree Bugs

Hi

Newbie gardener here and I’ve recently planted a weeping cherry tree in our garden. It seems to be taking well and plenty leaves have formed and a few buds of blossom. That said the leaves seem to be getting eaten, see photo. Any ideas on how to prevent this or what might be causing it?
