yellow leaves on my foxfloves

Hello Gardening people
I wondered if anyone suggest why my foxgloves leaves are turning yellow at the bottom leaves. The tops of the plants are green and healthy looking and still growing.
I started them from seed last July and just re potted them as they grew.
please help, any advice welcome. Thank you

Just cut those off, they’ll grow lots more.

Bottom leaves turning yellow can be a sign of nitrogen deficiency. The plant is taking the nitrogen from the lower leaves to use for the new growth.

The first leaves are from last year, mine are always the same.

  • Thank you Lynn for the information.
Should I cut off the yellow leaves from the bottom
