IDs please

two herbaceous perennials....
the 1st is about a foot high,very fast growing,I swear I can seen the growth in one day and the second...is it a phlox??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Love Rodgersia ... great ‘statement’ foliage plant. 😊

    think it’ll look great in my bed.It is a large bed with a lot of smaller plants and some shrubs so think the structure of the larger plants will look great.

    They're lovely, I’ve got a white and a pink one, the white grows to about 6’ the pink is not so tall.
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
