Sickly rambling roses

I've noticed that my rambling roses are looking extremely sick. I thought it was just a bad case of black spot, but on further inspection, I could see that the majority of the stems from the ground up are either yellowing or have gone brown and have split. This is probably the third Summer in the ground, and last year they flowered beautifully.
