Begonia help please!

First time I have tried begonia from tubers  They started off looking very healthy but in spite of careful watering they are looking beyond saving. Can they be saved or should I bin them?

It looks as though they have been scorched by sunlight. Not sure though. Were the leaves wet when they were on a sunny windowsill?

Thanks @AnniD. They did sit on a windowsill that got late afternoon sun but I never got any water on the leaves. I have since moved them outside into a shady cold frame but the leaves are still suffering. They seem to go soft then crispy. I wondered if it's a fungal infection.

I would cut off the long bits and repot them in a bigger pot. They should survive and resprout if you're lucky. They might just be hungry perhaps.
