Wisteria worrying

my very old Wisteria was pruned in early March. By early April it was in full bud but since then we have had frost and nearly all the flower buds have perished at 2-3cm long. It has only a few flowers and leaves up under the eaves in protected spots. I have lived here 8 winters and never seen it like this before. Will it recover?

The early warm weather triggered early flowering but then we had a cold snap which did for the flowers. It’s a shame, but it shouldn’t have done any long term damage to the plant. Fingers crossed for steadier weather next spring.
For now I’d give it some Fish, Blood & Bone and a good watering to give it a bit of a boost, and make sure it doesn’t dry out this summer.

Given the treatment suggested by Dove it should recover and may even make new flower buds if summer is half way decent.  Our two have 2 flushes of flowers but last year one of them flowered for months with no real break.
