    I'm glad you've planted it... surprised that it hadn't filled out the pot by now..  let's see how it does this year...

    Just to update this thread if anyone's looking or interested... JUBILEE celebration is much happier in the raised border.
    It only gets sun at the top and has quite a bit of competition but it has lots of fat healthy buds on it... Its about 3. 5ft tall. There aren't many leaves for the fist foot.

    I will post another picture when it flowers..

    @Ffoxglove,
    Sorry to bring up this thread. How did this rose do afterwards?

    Its doing quite well now. I grow it as a short climber tied into the fence because it is quite leggy and the flowers are heavy but it's a very pretty rose.

    Thank you. It is lovely!  Looks all healthy and beautiful flowers. I really like the colour, fragrance and petal pattern of this rose. It is very helpful know that it has grown well for you as I had ordered it but was worried if i made a mistake. If mine grew even half nice as yours I will be very happy.

    I felt like that in the first season as these roses take a while to show their best. It's fantastic as a cut flower too...it lasts much longer than my other roses.
