Sparaxis Bulbs.. advice needed please

Hi Everyone,
i adore sparaxis in pots and containers. This is my first time planting bulbs.
The info online is very conflicting.
i think I may have made a mistake. I have planted my bulbs in containers outside 2 weeks ago. They are sheltered against walls and chimney pots BUT I think I have been too hasty.
can anyone shed any light on what I must do please?
