    I meant to say, we saw our first swallow when we visited Nutcutlet’s garden (Lincs Cambs border) on Wednesday (24/4) ... but we’ve not seen any in Norfolk yet ...

  • First swallows/house martins/swifts - all look the same to me only because I haven't really studied their features too closely, although I have been told it was house martins that we have had nesting on our house in the past. However today I photographed this little robin and was pleased that the photos weren't too fuzzy. He was waiting for his lunch.  We have at least half a dozen in our garden, and the parents often feed their two chicks on this fence.
