Tomato seedlings.

I sowed my tomato seedlings in trays - wish I hadn't!
They have  germinated.
Do I wait for true leaves before I pot them?

    Yes, best to wait until you see the true leaves, then you can be sure there's a root system.
    If you've oversowed and they're crowded, just thin them out

    Thanks @Pete.8. No danger of overcrowding. There was only 6 in the packet!
    That's why I'm being so precious about them😊

    Ah! I ordered 4 varieties this year and one packet (Nepal) had only 6 seeds.
    I grow 2 of each variety, so sowed 3 of the 6 seeds and they all cam e up - phew!
