Composting 'undesirable' plants
I am presently in the process of clearing a particular patch of ground of weeds etc and my question is about composting what I'm taking out: the main offenders are the Spanish Bluebells which have started infesting the ground and suffocating lower growing Phlox and geraniums.
If I remove all the bulbs from the topgrowth is it then safe to compost the bluebell topgrowth without risking perpetuating the problem in future years through putting 'infected' compost on my garden?
