I really like this woody shrub in my neighbour's front garden, but I don't know what it is. I can tell it's in the legume family. Any ideas?

I think it's a Sophora microphylla...

It looks like Sophora Prostrata. Very rarely seen in this country.

Thanks, yes it looks like S microphylla or possibly S prostrata.
It's a tasteful garden isn't it, I also like the Choisya, presumably Aztec Pearl.
I'm not sure what the dark evergreen is behind the Choisya is either, although it looks familiar.

I think I found it at Brackenwood Nursery near Bristol. I realised I didn't really want it.

Enjoy the one in your neighbours garden 😉
