Is this grass or weed?

Not sure if me or the Mrs has seeded some thicker seed at some point, or is it a weed?

    It may be something called "Yorkshire fog", but l really am guessing !  Hopefully one of the grass experts on here can help @glasgowdan maybe?

    Couch grass. Get some weedkiller on a sponge and apply it.

    Do you use 4-1 weed and feed to simply maintain that look? 

    If you could kindly link, or tell me how you maintain your lawn I would like to follow as your virtual apprentice :)

    It takes a bit more, and I never use 4 in 1 treatments. You might get some ideas on my instagram posts @g66lawncare , timings etc.
