silly question...?

... does the compost in pots that has been used (I have just emptied a couple of very large pots that had tulips growing in them a couple of years ago) go on the compost heap / green waste bin? Or should I used it as, I dunno, mulch or sommat?

    Mulch or compost heap 😊

I mix it in with the compost, it sometimes has some worms and definitely some bacteria to get the heap working. Mixed with grass cuttings is good.

And it's not a silly question. .......no question is too trivial if you need or want to know the answer.
