Domestic use of glyphosate is a fraction of a percent of UK usage. Don't get hooked by the misinformed eco arguments.
It is the widespread commercial use that is bad for the environment. I am sure the relatively small amounts used domestically don't have as much impact as the large scale use. I use it judiciously and only if hand weeding etc is not a viable solution.
