Annual climbers planted in a large terracotta pot
I would like to combine Rhodochiton Atrosanguineus and Ipomoea Heavenly Blue, in the same pot. The terracotta pot is 40cm high x 45cm diameter, in a 'dumpy' shape, so holds quite a lot of compost. It is placed in front of a downpipe on a south facing wall. I already have a purpose made plastic covered trellis which curves around the downpipe and have grown clematis there in the past, with mixed success! Does anyone have any advice, on whether this plant combination would work, and if so what type of compost and feed I should use? I am also not sure how many plants of each type I would need ......
