    Or make a cold frame with some bricks/blocks/beams and an old window from a skip. No hammering, glueing or cementing needed for a temporary structure. 😊

    I’ve never had a cold frame, if the sides are solid brick do the plants get leggy stretching for the light at the top? 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    If the back is higher than the front lots of light gets in ... and of course you put the smaller plants at the front where the sides/front are lower. 
    And of course you can always line it with light coloured or reflective material  :)

    Thanks for advic all. Have them in pots now and will put them inside when cold. Plan is to build some cold frame but too lazy for now!
