Hostas

There's a thatch of moss on one container and the other has liverwort. (The hostas are poking through fine).
Does it matter? I'm sure they'll dry out in the summer.

    I wouldn’t worry about the moss but maybe get the liverwort off.

    Just another thought, watch out for slugs enjoying a nice mossy bed!
