Chrysalidocarpus Lutescens illness

Hello,

Please help. My chrysalidocarpus lutescens plant has white areas of dots on the stem and some leaves. I hope it is not contagious as it is in a small room with many plants.

I do not believe it is mealybugs as the dots are not moving and looks more like an infection.

See photos attached.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Very likely scale insects (Coccoidea). Unfortunately very difficult to get rid of them.
