Improvised reservoir pots

I've got some nice window sill sized pots, but they became a pain to water last year. So this year, I've added a second pot that sits nearly inside, and some cotton string through the holes in its base as a wick!

Very pleased with the results as it still looks smart, will be easy to top up, and cost only a few pounds.

    That's a smashing idea. I may try this with tomatoes this year

    That's what I've got in mine - albeit a dwarf variety. Hoping it gives them a more constant supply.
