Seed size

BrexiteerBrexiteer Posts: 955
Whilst sowing some nasturtium today 5 varieties in all I noticed various seed sizes. Do bigger seeds make bigger plants or does it make no difference. One variety called troika some seeds were twice as big as others

I've wondered about this too. I always sow some of the small seeds in a packet in case they're a different colour or something
    In London. Keen but lazy.

😂 Maybe it's a suggestion to get experimenting?

I've wondered about seed size too.
Unlike B3, I always tend to pick the biggest ones when I tip the packet of seeds into the palm of my hand. No scientific reasoning behind my choice whatsoever 😕.

Apologies. I have just joined this forum and was testing my ability to post. Now I need to test my ability to delete a post!  :)

No worries @Achtung :) welcome to the forum.
    Apologies for the little joke.

I'm afraid you can't delete a post, only edit it.
The edit cog is in the top right hand corner of your test post. Tap it, and the edit button will appear, tap again to edit your post. There is a one hour time limit.

Feel free to ask questions as you find your way around. We're a friendly helpful bunch 🌻.

I had discovered the cog but didn't see the point in editing it as others had posted responses and editing out the word would have made them non-sensical. Thanks for the welcome Kitty2.
