    Looks like some kind of member of the parsnip family?  Can't say that I have seen that before, sorry Sharon. Hopefully someone will recognise it...

    It's White Bryony or Bryonia dioica.  A member of the marrow family but is highly poisonous.  It's roots go far down so difficult to dig up entirely.
