I've used weed and feed

Used it 4 weeks a go.. Results have been great... I need to grow some new grass in certain areas of my lawn.. Instructions say to wait 8 weeks before laying new seed.

Just wondering if I could fresh turf the areas that needs new grass now? As maybe turf can be layed sooner vs seed?

    seed will only grow once its warm enough (which will be a few weeks yet), i would wait and seed as the existing grass will start filling in the gaps fairly soon
