Lemon tree pest/parasite help

Hello, we bought a lemon tree in Italy last year and brought it home. We reciently saw that it is infected with a parasite of some sort. We would very much appreciate some elp identifying it so we can treat our little tree.

    Scale, you can paint it with methylated spirit.

    Scale insect...spray with neem oil or a wash weekly with soapy water. Scale is sometimes linked to not enough enough humidity. Lemon trees don't do that well in my experience if they are near a radiator.

    After treatment .scrape off the top layer of soil. Put fresh in and feed. Most importantly mist the plant once a week. Until June when it needs to go outside if it already isnt
