Pound shop blueberry bush?

    I did remove the sleeve - but I'd have also had to take off the elastic bands, unwrap the plastic wrapping and drop compost all over the floor. Which I don't think would have gone down well in the shop.

    All of the folding of the stem was inside the opaque plastic wrapping with the roots. 

    From what was visible to the eye - it appeared to be a bag of roots with some green growth sticking out of the top.

    Which is why I won't be taking a punt on such plants again (as in where there's any doubt at all over what's inside the packaging) - at least not from this particular chain of shops.


    Anyway I'm not cross about it or anything, just viewing it as an experiment!


    I'll update with a photo at some point to let you all know how it gets on.

    I have 3 or 4 shrubs in the garden growing nice from poundland about 3 year ago but I don't know what they are
