Miner bees...

Looks like I have an invasion of these all over my lawn!

However, it seems they do no damage

Anyone else have this problem...?

I have mining bees but am thrilled to have them, not a problem. Our native wildlife needs gardens

I'm not sure if they are the same type, but I had solitary bees in a raised flower bed last summer.  Didn't even know they were there until one of the buggers stung me through my glove.  That woke me up!  I didn't dare go within about 3 feet of that bed for weeks as any noise had them up in the air very quickly.

Love them ... remember to wear your gardening Crocs! 😉 🐝
