Plant ID please

I have just moved into a new house and am wanting to know about what this plant is. I don’t  have much knowledge about plants but keen to learn.

    Possibly a hardy chrysanthemum?

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I think the same as Dove.
How do we describe the smell . Chrysanths leaves have a particular "scent", distinctive, not unpleasant (to my nose at least). But I don't know how to describe it.
If you cut or crush a leaf, have a sniff and report back.

Looks like a chrysanthemum to me too. You can trim off the dead bits to tidy it up   :)
As Rubytoo says, it has a certain smell !
Welcome from me too @Gardeninggirl36, you'll find lots of help and information here !
  • Thanks for your help and welcomes :) Didn’t know if I could trim the plants yet or not as read we have to wait till last frost. Thank you for the ID not had time to smell the leaves yet! Yes I’ve already read lots of fantastic threads as going to be growing some vegetables with my little one.
